    Egypt on Thursday expressed its optimism about a very high rise in the export of Egyptian building materials if the reconstruction file is opened in four Arab countries, including Iraq. 
    "The opening of the file of reconstruction in Iraq, Libya, Yemen and Syria will increase the exports of Egyptian building materials during the coming period," said the head of the Export Council for Building Materials in Egypt, Walid Jamal al-Din, adding that "the process of obtaining contracts in the reconstruction occurs First with a process of political support of the highest level. "
    "The markets of the above three countries will be very successful in the export of construction materials and it is easier for us and its revenues are good," Jamal said. "Even if the reconstruction task is assigned to a foreign company, we can export raw materials because it is related to quality and price."
    "We are firmly in the region, our location is strategic, our prices are good, our exports to Iraq are difficult, but the market is going well," he said.
    Egypt participated in the three-day conference on reconstruction of Iraq, hosted by Kuwait, with a high delegation headed by Assistant President Ibrahim Mahleb, including Minister of Housing and Minister of Electricity and Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Arab Affairs, with the participation of 86 Egyptian companies 
    The Egyptian participation, according to Egyptian media, to complement the successful meetings that took place in Baghdad two weeks ago with Prime Minister Haider Abadi, ministers and officials of the Iraqi government and donors and the Federation of Chambers.
