Sharifi: voter registration update centers opens tomorrow
11-11-2013 .. Baghdad (news) .. The head of the electoral administration Mekdad Sharifi, that the Electoral Commission in the process of opening more than (1080) centers to update the voter register.
Sharifi said at a press conference attended by the Agency (news): The Commission has allocated more than 155 billion dinars to support the electronic registration to be adopted by the Commission in the upcoming elections, pointing out that the Commission carried out a media campaign to urge voters to update their records.
He added: bought a database Commission and the Ministry of Commerce updated to conform with the voter register in order to solve some of the dilemmas that have occurred in previous elections, including the absence of some of the names of the citizens in the record.
He pointed out: that the centers will open its doors tomorrow morning as it is equipped with all things logistical, technical and security for registration centers to receive citizenship and update their records.
