OPEC: No discussion yet to extend production cuts to 2019
The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) said on Monday that
the organization had not discussed extension of production cuts to next year, adding that the focus was still on reducing global crude stocks.
"We feel there is still a surplus in the market," UAE Energy Minister Suhail Mohammed Al Mazrouei, in a brief interview ahead of the energy conference, said in a brief interview in Houston. "There are no talks on (extension of reductions to 2019) at this stage."
