Extensive international participation in the 45th session of the Baghdad Exhibition
07/3/2018 12:00 am [rtl] Baghdad / Taha Hussein The Ministry of Commerce has received many offers by several countries to participate in the events of the 45th session of the Baghdad International Fair, which is expected to be held in the month of October next, under the slogan (bent on construction and reconstruction as well as liberation and victory). Director General of the Iraqi Trade Exhibitions Company in the Ministry, Hashim al-Sudani explained in a special statement made to the "morning" that the requests received by his company, including offers from different countries of the world, some of them participate for the first time in the events of Baghdad International Fair organized by the Ministry annually with the participation of countries and companies Local, Arab and foreign, including: the United Kingdom, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Algeria and others. He pointed out that the magnitude of the offers received by the company by these countries may close the doors to private companies domestic and foreign or reluctant participation, because of the wide participation of these countries and reserved large areas for the presentation of industrial and agricultural products and other products, especially that the competition between them will be very large. He noted that the area of the Baghdad International Fair may not be enough to accommodate the participation of the countries mentioned, which called on his company to receive the requests of these countries first and after examining the size of their participation, will open the way for private sector companies. Al-Sudani promised this session, an official session in which Iraq needs a political pause in addition to the economic standstill and exploitation of the desire of foreign and Arab countries and its desire to enter the Iraqi market, in order to invest and participate in the implementation of reconstruction projects and the restoration of infrastructure of the regions. He stressed that the vast potential of the country in the fields of construction, as well as promising opportunities for investment, which have seen opportunities are not similar in other countries, which called on the countries referred to wish to participate strongly in the exhibition, noting that Western countries seek to get these Opportunities and began a real pace to move and see these opportunities significantly. He expressed the desire of a number of Arab countries to hold special exhibitions to display their products in Iraq, including the Syrian exhibition, which is expected to be held in April next on the ground of the Baghdad International Fair with the participation of more than 400 companies of the Syrian private sector, to showcase the various local products that are famous for manufacturing And production.
