A seminar on the dangers of drugs and its elimination was held in the Ezzedeen Salim district of the city's northern Basra district as part of the "Save Your Life" campaign launched by the student movement in the judiciary.
"The aim of the seminar is to raise awareness, educate and warn young people about being dragged behind drugs," Al-Hayak member Jafar Abdul Latif Qassem told journalists. "The campaign targets the soft places that can be eradicated and the drug trade."
Qassem added that the symposium included a lecture on drug definition as well as a play show showing the dangers caused by pointing out that there are seminars and other campaigns aimed at neighboring areas to reduce the phenomenon.
