The Conference of the Cross and Crescent begins in Baghdad
18/4/2018 12:23 am [rtl] BAGHDAD / Al-Sabah Baghdad will host two international conferences of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in the Middle East and North Africa starting Wednesday to discuss the most important humanitarian challenges in Iraq and the region. The Assistant Secretary-General of the Red Crescent Society Mohammed Al-Khuzaie said in a press statement: The capital Baghdad will host on Wednesday the tenth International Conference of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in the Middle East and North Africa for the period 18 - 19 April, with the participation of 17 international organizations members of the International Federation of Societies Red Cross and Red Crescent. "The conference will discuss the most important humanitarian challenges in Iraq and the region, promote a culture of peace, renounce violence and protect youth volunteers in areas of conflict," he added. Al-Khuzaie said that "Baghdad will then host the conference of the Arab Organization of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies for the period 20-21 of April," noting that "the two conferences are one of the most important platforms through which the exchange of experiences and the unification of humanitarian efforts."[/rtl] [rtl][You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] [/rtl] |
