The winning Sunni lists in the legislative elections in Iraq tend to announce their alliance in one parliamentary bloc in the coming days to negotiate with the largest Shiite bloc on the formation of the new government.
In a meeting held at the end of last month at the house of the leader of the coalition, "Iraqi decision" Osama Najafi, the Sunni lists agreed on "the unity of the word and the line to achieve the objectives of the return of displaced people and the reconstruction of the liberated cities and ensure their stability."
Al-Hayat newspaper reported in a report on a member of the list of "national" Raad al-Dahlaki said in a press statement that "the deputies of the liberated provinces of Daqash carry the concerns and programs themselves," stressing that "uniting at this time is necessary to unify efforts to return the displaced and end their suffering and the reconstruction of cities that Destroyed by the war on terror ". Al-Dahlaki added that "despite the rejection of the formation of blocks on the basis of sectarian or national, but the current stage does not differ significantly from the previous stages, where the Shiite blocs to form the largest parliamentary bloc in charge of forming the government, as well as the Kurdish blocs," noting that "Sunni blocs Will meet after the ratification of the election results to form a delegation negotiating the other blocs on the formation of the government.
With regard to the Shiite bloc close to the alliance, "national", said Dahlaki that "the list of patriotic open to everyone, and does not prefer a particular candidate to head the government as much as interested in the program to be presented and the objectives that will agree with other blocks to achieve." He added: "However, we find that the mass of victory led by Prime Minister Haider Abadi, in addition to the Kurdish blocs are closest to our orientations."
