The governor of Baghdad, Atwan al-Atwani, visited the province of Erbil and met with Governor Nozad Hadi, Deputy Governor Tahir Abdullah and Interior Minister in the Kurdistan region Karim Sinjari and discussed with them to enhance economic and security cooperation.
A statement issued by the governor's office received a copy of Al-Atwani's office. "Al-Atwani arrived in Arbil to discuss economic and security issues.
The governor of Baghdad also met with Kurdistan Interior Minister Karim Sinjari and discussed the nature of the security challenges facing the country and agreed on the need to coordinate security efforts to face the danger of remaining remnants of an effort to prevent the group from launching retaliatory attacks in response to the loss of its presence in the field, .
The statement pointed out that Atwani invited the governor of Erbil to visit Baghdad to increase cooperation between them and in various fields.
