    Baghdad / Sky Press

A delegation representing the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, arrived in Basra province to find out the events there and to identify the most prominent demands of the demonstrators.

Sadr ordered his delegation, which flew this morning from Najaf province to Basra, to calm the situation and stand by the demonstrators in their demands.

Basra has been witnessing demonstrations and large protests for several days due to poor services of water, electricity and unemployment spread among the people of the province.
