Crude oil futures fluctuated in a narrowly bullish range during the Asian session on Monday, suppressing the US dollar's rally for the fourth session in five sessions according to the inverse relationship between them.
At 1550 GMT, London Brent crude futures rose 0.30% to trade at $ 73.43 per barrel, compared with the opening at $ 73.21 a barrel, while the dollar index rose 0.13% to 95.28 compared to the opening at 94.16.
US crude futures for the September delivery of US crude oil "Nymex" rose 0.39% to $ 68.76 a barrel from $ 68.49 a barrel.
The report showed that oil stocks at the largest US storage center in Cushing, Oklahoma, fell 1.1 million barrels from Friday to Tuesday.
