    BAGHDAD / Al-Ghad Press: 

    The Border Crossing Authority announced on Thursday that 188 arrests were made during the past month. 

    The Authority said in a statement received by "Al-Gharab Press" a copy of it, "It is a belief in the approach of transparency and public opinion on the overall achievements achieved prepared the Border Ports Authority / Department of Operations and plans a report showed through the total violations that were seized at the outlets for the month of August 2018, 130) violations in customs cases and seizure of (10) offenses of drug smuggling and (11) violation of import licenses established by the body


    "Twenty (20) wanted persons were arrested and (17) of the deportees were arrested for violating the entry criteria. 

    He stressed "the intention to eliminate the excesses of public money, smuggling and smugglers and that all the above mentioned violations referred to the judiciary to take the necessary legal procedures against them."
