BAGHDAD / NINA / MP, of the Kurdistan Alliance, Mahama Khalil ruled out vote on the draft law of the federal budget for 2014, unless some of its paragraphs modified.

He told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / today "the Kurds will not let passing the budget for 2014, because it contains punitive, political and opaque paragraphs", describing it as "an encroachment on the public money."

Khalil, the rapporteur of the Economic Committee, added that "The Kurdistan alliance will attend parliament and will not boycott sessions, but it will not allow passing the budget law," expressing hope" to amend it."

It is mentioned that an expanded meeting began on Thursday morning in the parliament building, included the heads of parliamentary blocs, the Presidency of the Council of Representatives, headed by Speaker, the parliamentary committees on legal issues, financial, economic , oil and gas and the ministers of electricity and oil.
