Central sales fall to $ 124 million

BAGHDAD - Foreign currency sales fell Monday to $ 124.12 million, compared with $ 132.82 million in Sunday's auction, down $ 8.7 million, the central bank said.
According to the statement issued by the Central Bank, "the rate of exchange was 1190 dinars per dollar, in the auction held with the participation of 30 banks, in addition to a single financial transfer company."
The statement added that "the sales executed today are the results of the day on Tuesday," noting that "the total sales totaled 147.22 million dollars."
The bank said that "the volume of funds sold to strengthen the assets of banks abroad amounted to 123.22 million dollars, while the total amount of cash sold at 900 thousand dollars."
He added that "the amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad were sold at a price of 1190 dinars per dollar, and the sale of cash will be at the same price." Finished
