The head of the National Coalition bloc Kazem al-Shammari, that the most likely candidate for defense is the success of Shammari, while there was already a large number of names nominated.
He added that "the dispute over the names of candidates for defense and interior has been reduced to a large extent as the candidate for the defense is now is the success of Shammari only because this position of the national coalition led by Iyad Allawi."
Al-Shammari said that "if there are figures have nominated other names, this does not mean that he is a candidate and supported by the head of the list, Iyad Allawi."
