Iraqi cabinet votes on several resolutions

The Iraqi cabinet held its regular session Tuesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi. The council discussed several issues and issued the necessary decisions.
"The Cabinet discussed during its meeting today, chaired by Abdul Mahdi, several issues prepared for its agenda and issued a number of resolutions, the Cabinet decided to approve the priorities of the draft conventions and recommend to the House of Representatives Iraqi legislation on the passage of legislation on the draft conventions on the number (26) ".
The council decided, according to the statement, "to amend the decisions of the Council of Ministers numbered (287) for the year 2015 and (2) for the year 2017 on the validity of rent (kiosks) for people with special needs."
The Council of Ministers approved the decisions of the Ministerial Council on Energy adopted at the 18th meeting on the settlement agreement for the contract No. (EFP10-10200) between LEIGHTON OFFSHORE and Basra Oil Company. The Cabinet voted to "set the date for holding provincial elections after the completion of the work of the Independent High Electoral Commission and the Council of Representatives "He said.
The Council decided to withdraw the hand of the employees referred to the judiciary one or more cases, and authorized the Council of Ministers and the Minister of Education to address the emergency matters relating to the students' time and needs.
