The Department of Integrity added that "the accused provided the team with the phone of one of its employees who requested a sum of (12,500) US dollars for the purpose of removing the suspended material bail, stating that an ambush was set up and the arrest of the accused by the offense recognized in accordance with the provisions of resolution (160 of 1983) Dollars out of the amount agreed, pointing out that the accused admitted during the investigation on the agreement with an officer in one of the security services to remove one of the detainees for the amount of ten thousand dollars.
The department explained that "the officer was contacted by phone, and a date was set for meeting with him. He was caught with the criminal offense after being ambushed in terms of the accused. He admitted during the recording of his statements in agreement with the accused to remove the detainee for a sum of money, pointing out that the two checks were carried out under two memoranda And the investigating judge on the issue of integrity decided to arrest the accused in accordance with the provisions of Article (289) of the Penal Code.
In January, the Integrity Commission announced the seizure of a Baghdad inspector-general and the arrest of a woman swindling citizens with false promises of appointment.
