The anger: Iraq wants with the Kurdistan Region to have an active role in OPEC

The Deputy Prime Minister for Energy and Iraqi Oil Minister Thamir Ghadhban on Thursday reiterated his country's commitment to the agreements of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
"Iraq is the second largest oil exporter in the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and is committed to all the agreements reached between the member states regarding the reduction of the production level," Ghadhban told an oil and energy conference in the British capital.
He added that the decrease in production in the world, Iraq will play its role in increasing oil production.
He continued Ghadhban that "Iraq wants with the Kurdistan Region to have an effective role in OPEC and we are committed to the agreements of the Organization."
