(Baghdad: al-Furat News) revealed the parliamentary legal committee, the most prominent points of disagreement on the draft law of the Federal Supreme Court and the reason for disabling it since previous parliamentary sessions.
"The most important points of disagreement in the Federal Court's law is the issue of voting, the voting mechanism and opinions of the jurists, whether they are advisory or compulsory as members of the Federal Court," said Mohamed Ghazi, deputy chairman of the committee.
"The Federal Court's law has been discussed more than once, in addition to listening to the views of the political blocs and their observations and proposals, and then there will be meetings in the Legal Committee to finalize this law."
He pointed out that "in fact some seek to disrupt this law since the first sessions, the Federal Court law was supposed to be approved and legislation since 2005, but this law has been disabled legislation for political reasons."
"The law includes many paragraphs taking into account the observations of the Federal Court and the Judicial Council. The most important points of disagreement in this law is the subject of voting and the voting mechanism and opinions of the jurists are advisory or mandatory as members of the Federal Court."
"The law includes mechanisms of work and has no relation to the selection of characters on the basis of the selection of characters is not within the jurisdiction of the House of Representatives, the mechanism of selecting judges of the validity of existing committees in coordination with the Judicial Council and the Federal Court and the three presidencies."
On the draft law on civil service, the deputy head of the parliamentary legal committee, "as a legal committee, we seek to make some amendments to the Civil Service Law, because it is a lack of some staff," adding that "
"We have formally asked the Presidency of the Parliament to present it to the Legal Committee for the existence of many comments on the paragraphs and provisions of this law. There is a clear lack of respect for a certain segment of the staff, so we seek to address this issue within the corridors of the Legal Committee and expect within two weeks to complete this law.
On the budget law, Al-Ghazi explained that "it is prescribed by the Finance Committee specifically, and the legal committee does not have a role in drafting this law. The Finance Committee is the one who offered it to vote within the House of Representatives." We as a legal committee follow the laws enacted by the House of Representatives, Which has not been implemented by the government. "
He pointed out that "the action taken by the Legal Committee is to follow up and write for the presidency of the House of Representatives and a report on the laws that have been initiated and not implemented by the government."
