Alternatives to power transmission in the south are calling for an increase in housing and the allocation of overtime hours

A number of alternate employees at the General Company for the transfer of electricity in the south organized a protest to demand the lifting of housing and the calculation of the allocation of overtime hours.
During the stand in front of the company's headquarters in Al-Twaisa area in the center of Basra, they demanded the lifting of the job placement for the certificate holders and the addition of the daily wage service, contract and certificate. They also called on the government of Basra to allocate plots of land to the alternates, especially the owners of contracts, since most of them live in rented housing houses and suffer from rising rents and rising costs of living.
