Former MP: 70% of the money allocated for the reconstruction of Mosul was stolen

The former deputy of Nineveh province, Noura al-Bajari, said that [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] has not been rebuilt because of rampant corruption in the departments of Nineveh province.

She added: "These organizations do not have offices and headquarters in the province, but most of their representatives are in the Kurdistan region, and therefore the local government and Baghdad are not aware of these large funds," noting: "The rate of corruption and theft of these funds amounted to 70%."
