data showed the Central Bank of Iraq, the value of foreign currency sales in the auction held on Sunday, to 220.18 million dollars, compared to the auction sales last Thursday; amounting to 213.3 million dollars, an increase of 6.88 million dollars.
The exchange rate was 1190 dinars per dollar, according to central bank data, at the auction held with the participation of 33 banks, as well as a financial transfer company.
"The sales executed are the results of Monday," the central bank said, adding that "total sales totaled $ 247.76 million."
He explained that "the volume of amounts sold to strengthen the balances of banks abroad amounted to $ 219.1 million, while the total cash sold $ 1.08 million."
During Thursday's auction, data showed the Central Bank of Iraq, the value of foreign currency sales fell to 213.3 million dollars, compared with sales of Wednesday's auction; amounting to 232.93 million dollars.
