    {Baghdad: Al Furat News} Foreign Minister Mehmet Ali Al-Hakim participated in a meeting that included Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Lebanon’s Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil, and Turkey’s Foreign Minister Gawishoglu.
    The meeting discussed, according to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, "The Syrian refugee crisis, which calls for humanitarian interventions that secure them access to decent livelihoods, and the development of urgent plans to alleviate their suffering, in addition to adopting strategies that focus on supporting the economy of the host countries, in order to maintain social and economic stability."
    They stressed, "The United Nations and humanitarian organizations must bear more responsibility for this crisis and secure the necessary humanitarian and development support for them."
