[size=18]The American embassy in Baghdad on Friday considered that the country's military presence in Iraq is to continue the fight against ISIS operatives.

The embassy said in a statement, Alsumaria News received a copy of it, "Our military presence in Iraq is to continue the fight against ISIS, and as the Foreign Minister said, we are committed to protecting the citizens of the United States."

"The Iraqis and our coalition partners are unambiguous regarding the importance of the mission of defeating ISIS in Iraq, and at this time, any delegation sent to Iraq will be dedicated to discussing the best ways to recommit to our strategic partnership - not to discuss troop withdrawal, but our appropriate stance on having Power in the Middle East. "

The embassy clarified that, "Today, there is a delegation from NATO in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to discuss increasing the role of NATO in Iraq, in line with the President's desire to share the burdens in all our collective defense efforts."

And she stressed that, "Nevertheless, there is a need for a conversation between the United States and Iraqi governments, not only with regard to security, but also about our financial, economic and diplomatic partnership," stating: "We want to be a friend and partner of an Iraq that enjoys sovereignty, prosperity, and stability."
