, The Investigation Department of the Integrity Commission reported, on Wednesday, the issuance of a recruitment order against a member of the House of Representatives for the previous session on suspicion of exploiting the position, and not disclosing financial liability.
And the department stated in a statement, which received / Mawazine News / a copy of it, that "the Kirkuk Investigation Court, which is competent to look into integrity issues, issued a recruitment order against a member of the House of Representatives for the previous session, on the background of suspicion of exploiting the position and not disclosing financial liability to the Integrity Commission."
And the department indicated, "The court issued the recruitment order after writing the statements of witnesses and reviewing the memorandum of the Prevention Department in the Commission, which included a notification of (suspicion of exploiting the position), in addition to the fact that it did not submit a financial disclosure statement (annual or final) during the membership of the Council." The deputies, which necessitated the referral of the case to the investigations department of the organization, which, in turn, presented it to the specialized investigation court after completing its procedures therein.
And she continued, “The court, and as a result of its available information, and after writing witnesses’ statements and seeing the Prevention Department’s reading, it decided to issue a summons for its recruitment based on the provisions of Article (240) of the Iraqi Penal Code. ”End 29 / p.
