The Federal Integrity Commission announced today, Monday, the issuance of a recruitment order against the current governor of Anbar, on the charge of "damaging public money."
Speaking about the case that it investigated and referred to the judiciary, according to a statement received by Mawazine News, the Commission's Investigation Department stated, "The Central Anti-Corruption Criminal Court issued an order to bring in the current governor of Anbar, in the case of violations and breaches committed in the Real Estate Registration Directorate in Anbar." .
And she added, "The recruitment order was issued against the accused, based on the provisions of Article 340 of the Iraqi Penal Code, as a result of intentionally harming the funds and interests of the Anbar Governorate, by distributing residential plots in the areas surrounding the Anbar airport to be established, in agreement with a number of influential people in the province."
