Iraq begins examining travelers from China

{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The General Company for Iraqi Airways (one of the formations of the Ministry of Transport) announced, Thursday, the start of several precautionary measures in cooperation with the Ministry of Health to avoid the transmission of (Corona virus) to Iraq.
The general manager of the company, Kifah Hassan, said, according to the statement of the Ministry of Transport, "The medical teams have started examining all passengers arriving on flights from the State of China to the airports operating in the country, in addition to flights coming from countries where the virus was recorded."
Hassan explained that "these measures that have come into effect receive great attention and a high degree of precaution and caution in securing all ports for the country in anticipation of any emergency and to preserve the safety of citizens."
The examination followed, "The examination procedures conducted by the medical team are divided into several stages, starting from the on-site examination of Iraqi and foreign travelers on board the aircraft upon arrival, and in case of any suspicion, the team will transfer the suspected case to a specialized center to receive the required treatment."
