    Yassin Iraq: Baghdad
The issue of poor internet quality in Iraq remains a subject of widespread questions and greater discontent among users in Iraq, while most users are unaware of the reasons behind the poor quality of the Internet service.

The Iraqi Organization for Measuring the Quality of Communications presented 4 reasons about the poor quality of the Internet in Iraq, while the Ministry of Communications carried several other problems that caused poor quality of service.

And the organization considered in a statement seen by "Yassin Iraq" that "the increasing population in Iraq is considered one of the reasons for the weak internet in Iraq, in addition to relying on the few subscriptions to buy Internet capacities and increase their use, it also makes it difficult for them to use it."

The organization pointed out that "when the Internet entered Iraq strongly after 2003, the population in Iraq was about 27 million, but today it has reached forty million at a time when we are still adopting the same mechanisms to deliver the service, which is dependence on the wireless mechanism, while the whole world has turned towards service Optical cable is the most modern service in the world. ”

She added that “the problem that Iraq suffers from now is that users remain dependent on weak or low-cost subscriptions, while the number of individuals who use these subscriptions has increased and the subscription that must be used by two or three people is used by five or six people. Consequently, it caused a great weakness in the service provided to them. ”

The organization did not consider the aforementioned problems to be the only ones. Rather, the Ministry of Communications carried other problems.

The organization said that "there are several problems that bear the responsibilities of the Ministry of Communications, which have not developed their infrastructure and did not rely on modern technologies to deliver the service."
The organization called for "the necessity of adopting the optical cable service to solve the Internet problem in Iraq, and ending the dependence on wireless to deliver the Internet service, and companies should educate users in purchasing subscriptions that suit their needs."
