The Iranian lawmaker, Heshmat Allah, Bisht Bishah, said that Iran and America are approaching the war unusually, saying that this is happening because of a "third party." Falahit Bisha, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian parliament, described this war as "injustice to both countries", because if it erupted it would be caused by a "third party."
He did not refer, in his interview to "Berna" news agency, on Saturday, to the "third party", but he warned that "Iran and the United States are getting close to the war unnaturally."
But he added, "The main problem is that the two countries derive their information from the opponent's camp indirectly and through third parties."
Faishat Bishah made similar statements last year, which caused controversy in Tehran, which prompted the Iranian Supreme National Security Council to file a judicial complaint against him.
Referring to that complaint, Falahit Bisha said that he remains steadfast in his position to avoid any confrontation between Iran and the United States because of the other parties, as he put it.
Mutual warnings
These statements come after mutual warnings between Tehran and Washington about the possibility of a confrontation between American forces and Iranian militias in Iraq.
News of the movements of the American forces to confront the militias loyal to Tehran in Iraq, prompted the Iranian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday to issue a statement saying that the American military moves in Iraq would lead to "catastrophic instability" in the region.
The United States had moved last week, part of its forces, from some Iraqi military bases and increased the number of Patriot anti-air defense systems, one of them at Ein al-Assad, according to press reports.
And American sources confirmed in recent days that the Pentagon was planning a possible retaliation against the Iraqi militias allied to the Iranian regime, including the elimination of the "Hezbollah Brigades" militias, according to the "New York Times".
