Oil prices jumped, today, Monday, to reach the highest level in more than a year, after a stronger than expected job report in the United States and the decision of OPEC and its allies not to increase supplies in April, as it coincides with the attacks on Saudi oil facilities.
The price of Brent crude futures exceeded the level of $ 71 per barrel, for the first time since January 8, 2020.
Trading data indicated that May Brent oil mixtures rose by 2.32 percent to reach $ 71.15 a barrel.
West Texas Intermediate crude futures for April rose 2.57 percent to $ 67.81 a barrel.
