Al-Jaafari and the Spanish ambassador discuss means of strengthening investment, economic and security aspects in the country

BAGHDAD / NINA / Head of the National Alliance Ibrahim al-Jaafari discussed on Thursday with Spanish Ambassador Jose Maria ways to develop relations between the two countries and strengthening investment, economic and security aspects in the country.
A statement by his office said that the two sides discussed during the meeting the ongoing political developments regarding the completion of the government bodies in accordance with the constitutional timings to start a new phase of work that will improve the political, security, legislative and service situation."
For his part, the Spanish ambassador congratulated al-Jaafari for the formation of the Presidency of the House of Representatives, stressing his country's support for Iraq, particularly in the areas of counter-terrorism and economic investment. / End
