    On Friday, S&P Global Ratings indicated a decline in Basra crude and an increase in Kurdistan's oil exports during the month of May.

    According to an agency report, translated by "Nass" (June 4, 2021), "Iraq's total oil exports in May, including the exports of the Kurdistan region, decreased by 1.4% from the previous month, according to the Oil Ministry's figures and the reports of the Turkish Ceyhan Export Station .  
    The report added, "Federal government exports decreased in May by 1.6 percent to 2.899 million barrels per day from April, according to data from the Ministry of Oil released on June 1. Kurdish oil exports rose by 0.5% to 392,000 tons per day from the previous month, according to Cihan Export Station reports.  
    Federal oil exports included 2.8 million barrels per day from southern Gulf terminals, down 1.7% from April. The export of Kirkuk oil from Ceyhan increased by 3% to 99,000 dinars per day. Exports of Qayyarah heavy oil from the southern port of Khor Al Zubair and crude oil that was trucked to Jordan are still suspended.  
    Under the agreement to reduce production between Iraq and OPEC, "Iraq's share rose to 3.905 million barrels per day in May from 3.857 million barrels / day in April."  
    The federal government's oil exports at the Gulf terminal consist of 781,000 barrels per day from Basra Light, down 6.7% from April volumes, and 1,013 million barrels per day from Basra Medium, an increase of 2.4% from the previous month and 1,006 million barrels in Today from Basra Heavy, down 2% according to export figures from the State Oil Marketing Organization.  
    And oil stocks in southern reservoirs rose in May by "1.9 million barrels to reach 4.7 million barrels, equivalent to 61 thousand barrels per day."
