    {Local: Al Furat News} The British oil company "BP" announced, on Sunday, a decrease in electric power production in Iraq during the year 2020, noting that the annual growth rate of energy production during ten years had risen to 12.3%.
    The company said in its schedule for the year 2021, that "the production of electric power in Iraq during the year 2020 amounted to 131.3 TWh, a decrease of 0.7% from 2019, when production was 131.9 TWh, and an increase from 2018, which amounted to 100.2 TWh / hour".
    And she indicated that "the annual growth rate of electricity production in Iraq from 2009 to 2019 recorded the highest rates in the Arab countries, reaching 12.3%, followed by Oman with a growth rate of 7.6%, and then Qatar with a growth rate of 7.5%."
