{Baghdad: Euphrates News} announced the Ministry of Planning, on Sunday, for the decline in indicators of inflation during the month of January last by {0.6%}, while the annual inflation rate is seen another decline in the month compared with the same month of the previous year in 2015 by {1.6 }%.
He said the official spokesman of the ministry Abdul Zahra al - Hindawi said in astatement the agency {Euphrates News} received a copy of it today, " The reason for decline in the monthly inflation index was influenced by lower indices for anumber of departments including food and non - alcoholic beverages rose {3%} and the Department of Transportation by {0.9% }, and the Department of communication {0.2%}, Department of Recreation and culture by {5.3%}, while the decline in theannual inflation index , which stood {104.8%} down {1.6%} compared to the January month of 2015 , which was {106.5%} . Has came due low prices Department of food and non - alcoholic beverages rose {3%} to contribute by {151.0%} in the monthly rate of change. " He added that" changes in the annual inflation indicators also resulted from a decrease in vegetable group by {10.5%} from the previous month due to lower prices for tomato by {26.5%} and potato prices by {14.7%}, as well as a decrease in fruit set prices by {4.7%} from the previous month due to lower prices ofapples by {17.0%} and orange prices by {13.8%} , "stressing that "impairment fish set prices by {3.6%} from the previous month due to lower fresh fish prices {Karp attributes} by {3.6%} and frozen fish by {4.0%}." He noted that " the meat group also saw a decrease of {1.3%} from the previous month due to lower fresh lamb prices by {1.2%}, beef fresh by {1.0%}, and frozen chicken by {1.6%}, low oil group and fat by {0.8%} from the previous month due to lower vegetable trade oil prices by {2.3%}, while milk and cheese group has seen eggs rise in prices by {1.4%} from theprevious month due to higher egg prices by {6.2%}. " He noted that" prices of theDepartment of clothing department and footwear recorded a rise of {0.8%} to contribute by {8.5%} in the monthly rate of change due to the high standard figures for a clothing materials by {1.9%}, as the Department of Aalexan increased amount {1.1%} to contribute by {50.1%} in the monthly rate of change due to the high standard figures for a water supply and electricity by {5.8%}. " so" the food and beverage prices , non - alcoholic beverages recorded a decrease of {1.6%} to contribute by {47.4%} at the annual rate of change and this decrease resulted from the decline of meat set prices by {0.5%}, the decline in the fish group by {16.4%}, while the tobacco division increased by {11.3% record} to contribute by {7.1%} in theannual rate of change .osgel clothing and footwear department decrease of {8.2%} to contribute by {60.2%} in the rate of change annual due to lower clothing set by {7.5%} and set footwear by {11.2%}. " he went on saying that" prices Department ofhousing, water, electricity, gas and fuel has increased an amount {3.4%} to contribute by {96.5%} at the annual rate of change due to rise prices range of water and electricity supplies by {27%} and group maintenance services and housing by {12.8%}, lower section of household furnishings and equipment and maintenance prices by {2.3%} to contribute by {15.7%} in the annual change due to lower furniture and fittings set prices by { 6.0%}, the health department recorded anincrease of {3.6%} to contribute by {16.6%} in the annual change.
