The report praised "the achievements of drilling 25 new wells in 2016, with a significant improvement in the reduction of drilling times," adding that "23 wells were entered into active duty, with the time required to connect wells by half, 2016 completion of maintenance work for 117 oil wells, which led to raising the efficiency of production.
"Thanks to these achievements, the Rumaila oil stations now receive about 1.8 million barrels per day of extracted hydrocarbon fluids, the highest quantity handled in the last 37 years.
