He added, "The ministry succeeded in most of this work, and good and encouraging revenues were achieved in the last four years, with an increase in imports by 15-16% annually."
He pointed out that "the factories that were rehabilitated include factories for construction materials, cement and medicines," noting that "some of them produce 30% of their capacity because they were established to provide ministries, including defense, interior, agriculture, health and education with what they need. The problem is that these ministries do not buy our products, and there are ministries It does not adhere to the recommendations to purchase the products of the Ministry of Industry.
He pointed out that "there are factories that are being rehabilitated by investors, and the ministry gives them a pledge to buy their products with the aim of compensating them for the costs of rehabilitation, but unfortunately the ministries insist on buying their needs from importers at higher costs and of lower quality that are not equivalent to what the industry produces."
