Earth News/ The leader of the National Coalition, Iyad Allawi, blessed today, Sunday, the Iraqi judiciary's decision to acquit former Finance Minister Rafie al-Issawi.
Allawi said in a tweet on Twitter, which was followed by Earth News, that "we were and still trust in our just judiciary as one of the foundations for building the state and the pillars of its renaissance."
Allawi added, "I congratulate my brother, Dr. Rafe' Al-Issawi, for his fairness and his acquittal by the judiciary, and I hope for a real review of the thousands of innocent people who have been behind prisons for years on malicious charges."
