The head of the Victory Alliance, Haider al-Abadi, stressed today, Saturday, that the anniversary of the fall of the dictatorship must raise in us lessons for a rational leadership of the state.
Al-Abadi said in a statement, "On this day in 2003, the rule of the Baath and the dictatorship of injustice and discrimination fell, and the culture of worshiping power and the tyranny of interests did not fall at the expense of the people's hopes and the good of the state!!"
He added, "The memory of the fall of the dictatorship must awaken in us lessons for a rational leadership of the state, away from authoritarian tendencies, chaos of wills, and conflict of interests at the expense of the nation."
