[size=52]Within 8 months, more than 100 million liters of gasoline arrived from Baghdad to Kurdistan[/size]
[size=45]On Saturday, the Information and Information Department of the Kurdistan Regional Government announced the arrival of more than 117 million liters of gasoline from the Federal Ministry of Oil during the last period, confirming its distribution to the provinces of the region.[/size]
[size=45]The department said in a statement that "this came after the agreement between the governments of the center and the region about sending government-subsidized gasoline to the regions of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and distributing it to citizens at (690) dinars per liter."[/size]
[size=45]He explained that "during the period between (28-8-2021 and 6- 4- 2022), 117 million and 974 thousand and 529 liters arrived in the region."[/size]
[size=45]The statement continued, "This quantity was distributed to all governorates, and the share of Sulaymaniyah and Halabja was (50,404,375) liters, and Erbil (41,721,407) liters, while the share of Dohuk was (25,848,747) liters."[/size]
[size=45]In Vienna, the Ministry of Natural Resources in the Kurdistan Region announced in a statement today, Saturday, that the Federal Oil Ministry sends daily (1080) cubic meters of gasoline at a price of (650) dinars, and it is distributed daily to the provinces of the region.[/size]
[size=45]According to the statement, the share of Sulaymaniyah is 360 thousand liters per day, Erbil (360) thousand liters per day, Dohuk (216) thousand liters and 144,000 liters for Halabja governorate.[/size]
[size=45]Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Natural Resources in the Kurdistan Region refuted the allegations circulating about the governorate of Erbil, the capital of the region, seizing the quota of fuel allocated to Sulaymaniyah governorate by the federal government and smuggling it outside the country.[/size]
[size=45]In a statement today, the ministry stated that some media and social media pages published false and misleading information claiming that Erbil had seized Sulaymaniyah's share of the fuel allocated by the federal government and smuggled it to Turkey and Europe.[/size]
[size=45]The ministry said that it strongly denies these reports, which are far from the truth, describing them as "a misleading act aimed at undermining the internal situation in Kurdistan, and misleading public opinion in the region and Iraq."[/size]
