    The economic expert, Basil Al-Obeidi, confirmed, on Monday, that no economic growth was recorded despite the rise in international oil prices, indicating that all government data on the development of the economy are “narcotic needles.”
    Al-Obaidi said in a statement to the “Information” agency, that “what is He is rumored about achieving economic growth during the past or next two years, this concept does not apply to him.     And he indicated that "there are dangers that threaten the Iraqi people with poverty as a result of global events and the lack of our water supplies, which in general lead to an increase in local prices, and for which the government has not taken any measures except the grant of the poor amounting to 100,000 dinars for only one month, and there are more than half a million citizens waiting to enter the network Social protection, which has become the breadwinner of an important proportion of the population.”
    He pointed out that "the government considers that it has succeeded during two years of its work in achieving the highest economic growth rate at the level of the Arab countries, based on the reports of the International Monetary Fund, which expected that the growth rate in Iraq would reach 9.5% during 2022 and 2023, but this is not An achievement because it is not certain that it will continue in the coming years, with evidence that the proposed budget will adopt the price of 72 dollars per barrel of oil, which indicates that the credit for this growth is oil alone that has no partner or alternative, and if we want to achieve real growth, this requires diversifying the sources of domestic product to depend on agriculture industry, housing, tourism and others besides oil.” Ended 25 and
