, a member of the Parliamentary Oil and Energy Committee, Durgham Al-Maliki, confirmed, on Tuesday, that the Food Security Law addresses the financial crisis related to the payment of Iranian gas dues.
Al-Maliki told "Mawazine News", "One of the food support clauses is the Iranian gas dues clause, the electrical network and support for the ration card items."
He added, "The House of Representatives is now in the reading phase of the project, and after the final vote on it, part of those dues will be paid."
Al-Maliki indicated that "the law will deal with part of the ruling expenses." Ended 29/N33
