    Earth News/
A great contradiction occurred in which the State of Law coalition, especially its leader, Nuri al-Maliki, regarding the passage of the Food Security Law, after al-Maliki set a condition for approving the passage of the law, and it was included in the paragraphs of the law and Parliament voted on it, he again objected to it in "public", a contradiction he attributed A political analyst to a "political agenda", as well as an attempt to evade responsibility in the event of a failure to implement the law.

An informed political source said, in an interview with "Earth News", that "the leader of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, set a condition in exchange for the participation of his bloc by passing the Emergency Food Security Support Law, which is to add a paragraph in which the application of the law is subject to the Federal Court's decision about it."

He added that "Al-Maliki's condition was put forward after the meeting he held with his parliamentary bloc a few hours before the parliament session was held, and after the meeting, he presented his condition to the political blocs, and it was approved and included in the paragraph in the law, and it was passed by the parliament's vote on all paragraphs of the law."

And the source indicated, "During the meeting, al-Maliki confirmed that his position would be supportive of all laws that affect the demands of graduates, lecturers, farmers, the poor, and support the energy and electricity sector, provided that they do not violate the decisions of the Federal Court and the powers stipulated for the caretaker government."

He continued, "The State of Law coalition, after the law was passed and included the conditions of the coalition leader, Nuri al-Maliki, came back to attack the law again and confirmed that it is unconstitutional and collides with the decisions of the Federal Court, in a contradictory and strange situation."

Last Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted on the Emergency Food Security Support Law, after a series of meetings and long conflicts, which were resolved in the last hours, especially the participation of the Coordinating Framework forces in the vote despite their previous objection to the law.

But what was surprising was the position of the leader of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, who expressed strong opposition to the law, through his tweets on his Twitter page, but at the same time, he went to a meeting with his parliamentary bloc, in which he agreed to pass it.

After the law was passed, the State of Law coalition, who voted on the Food Security Law with Al-Maliki's approval, launched an attack on its passage and emphasized that it was in violation of the Federal Court's decision and the Constitution.

The law approved by Parliament was submitted by the Parliamentary Finance Committee, after the Federal Court issued its decision to stop the passage of the Food Security Law after its arrival from the government, because it is not within the powers of the latter, being a caretaker government.

Commenting on the matter, political analyst Ghaleb Al-Daami told "Earth News" that "the contradiction in the statements between support and opposition to the Food Security Law, comes because the matter is linked to political agendas, which pushes the blocs to the opposition in public and approve it in the dark room."

He continued, "Everyone knows that the Food Security Law will not lead to a clear service directly to the lives of citizens. This law takes a long time, approximately two years, until its results become clear."

He stressed, "Some parties openly oppose even when the law fails, they say that we were opposed to it, even though these parties signed the law and voted on it, and money was distributed equally between ministries and institutions controlled by political parties, and this is considered a door to corruption, That is why there are those who announce their rejection of the law, and they voted for it, and set conditions for voting.”

It is noteworthy that Mazhar Muhammad Salih, the economic advisor to the Prime Minister, confirmed yesterday in a press interview that the Food Security Law covers important paragraphs and gives public finances flexibility for disbursement, and that the country needs a modern agricultural renaissance that depends on the granting of agricultural licenses, but there is no alternative to the general budget. .
