    [size=45]Part of the opening of the first phase of the combined cycle power plant in Maysan with a capacity of 960 megawatts, during the ceremony held on Sunday, July 3, 2022, in the presence of the Prime Minister of Iraq, Mr. Mustafa Al-Kazemi, and His Excellency the Iraqi Minister of Electricity, Mr. Adel Karim, and Mr. Muhannad Al-Saffar, Director CEO of Siemens Energy in Iraq. This plant represents another milestone in Siemens Energy's commitment to supporting Iraq's electricity supply. The impact of this project extends beyond improving energy stability in southern Iraq to also include contributing to reducing the import of fuel and energy gas through operating with local gas.[/size]
