The head of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, considered, on Sunday, that there are no early elections until after the resumption of the House of Representatives.

Al-Maliki said in a statement, "The judiciary's ruling is that Parliament may not be dissolved, and this means that there are no early elections until after the Parliament resumes its sessions and the formation of a new government with full powers."

He added, "The political forces also expressed their support for the judiciary's decision and announced their refusal to dissolve parliament and the proposed early elections."

Al-Maliki added, "This means that there is no need yet to talk about this constitutionally, judicially and politically settled issue and it must be left and devotion of speech, efforts and proposals on how to activate Parliament and how to speed up the formation of a coalition government to achieve the best services and stability for Sisi and security."
