D. Haider Abadi receives GOC Central Command in charge of the security of the American Middle East

His prime minister-designate, Dr. Haider al-Abadi said Wednesday the commander of the Central Region of the American forces in charge of the security of the Middle East, Gen. Lloyd Austin and his accompanying delegation.
A statement by the Information Office of the Prime Minister-designate said that "Dr. Abadi discussed with Austin and his entourage of security conditions taking place in Iraq in addition to the conditions of the region."
He said during the meeting, Dr. Abadi to the importance of security cooperation between Iraq and America, according to the agreement signed between the two countries, Strategy, and there is international support for Iraq in the field of combating terrorism in order to get rid of the terrorist gangs Daash.
He stressed the need to dry up the sources of terrorism in Iraq and the region to ensure stability as Iraq is currently facing an enemy uses all methods of criminal and inhuman, which requires international cooperation and the formation of a global Mntoma traced and eliminated.
Gen. Austin turn expressed the readiness of the United States to help Iraq in the field of security and train Iraqi forces, noting at the same time and through the follow-up to the existence of significant progress in the performance of Iraqi forces and their ability to launch successful attacks against sites Daash.
