    The House of Representatives voted, today, Wednesday, to renew confidence in Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi.


    The Media Department of the House of Representatives stated in a statement received by Alsumaria News, "The House voted to renew confidence in the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad al-Halbousi."
     
    She added that "the total number of voters amounted to 235 deputies," noting that "only 13 deputies approve of the resignation, and 222 deputies reject the resignation."





     
    It is noteworthy that the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Shakhwan Abdullah, inaugurated the proceedings of Session No. 4 of the fifth electoral term for the first legislative year of the second legislative term.
     
    The agenda of today's session included voting on the resignation of the Speaker of the Council, Muhammad al-Halbousi, and the election of the first deputy.
