    Baghdad / National News Center
Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs commented on the decision of OPEC + to reduce production, indicating that the path of the organization expresses a technical vision related to the stability of oil markets and its requirements.
The ministry said in a statement received by the National News Center: "The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs is following up the reactions to the OPEC + decision regarding reducing oil production and the interactions that the decision reflected."

The ministry affirmed that “the path that has been relied upon within the organization, expresses a technical vision related to the stability of oil markets and its requirements, regulating the supply and demand process, and protecting the interests of producers and consumers, and it must be approached on technical grounds, in its economic context and with a collective agreement between OPEC + countries.”

The ministry added, "We reject any policy aimed at threats or pressure, and supports the position of the organization, especially the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."
According to the statement, the ministry called for “the necessity of addressing every dispute concerning this issue through natural means and in the context of direct, balanced dialogue, and in a manner that reflects the importance of international partnership in efforts to establish security and stability in the region and the world.”
