    Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The outgoing Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, has arrived in Amerli district after liberating it from the ISIL terrorists.

    A Military source stated to IraqiNews.com “Maliki checked the military headquarters, urging them to increase their efforts to achieve more results.”

    “Maliki praised the military operations and elements for liberating the district,” the source concluded. /End/

    Iraqi Minister Hadi al-Ameri and his sons led the Peace Brigades to Amerli

    Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) According to a security source on Sunday, the Iraqi minister of transportation and the head of Badr Organization, Hadi al-Ameri, as well as his sons, were on the frontlines among the armed forces that lifted the siege on the city of Amerli in Salahuddin province.

    The source told IraqiNews.com that, the head of Badr Organization Hadi al-Amerli and his sons, came on the frontlines of the Peace Brigades alongside the Iraqi armed forces and the volunteers from the local clans in an attempt to lift the siege on Amerli, about 90 km East Tikrit.

    Earlier in the same day, The Turkmen deputy leader Jasim Mohammed Jaafar announced that, the city of Amerli was redeemed and the army took control over the surrounding villages to secure the whole area.
