, the head of the Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, called on Monday to pay attention to external roads, paving them, expanding them, and furnishing them with indications and warning signs.
Al-Hakim said, in a statement received by Mawazine News, that "on the International Day of Remembrance of Road Accidents, we call for attention to external roads, paving them, expanding them, and furnishing them with signs of indication and warning, especially since some of them in Iraq have become called the roads of death."
Al-Hakim urged the concerned authorities to "launch a national educational campaign to educate citizens to adhere to safety measures to reduce road accidents that leave hundreds of victims annually." Ended 29/N33
