Today, Tuesday, the President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Rashid, called for a thorough investigation into the explosion of gas systems in the Kurdistan region.
And the President of the Republic stated in a tweet to him, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "With great sadness, we followed the painful incidents in Dohuk and Sulaymaniyah, following the gas explosions," adding, "We offer condolences to the afflicted families and wish recovery for the injured."
He stressed that "the concerned authorities must thoroughly investigate, strengthen safety measures, and take whatever is necessary to prevent a recurrence of what happened."
