The head of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Iraq, Naseer al-Ani continuation of the Presidency of the Republic to issue presidential decrees on death row issues, denying reports that indicated to stop, among the presidency is committed to the invitation of President Jalal Talabani, urging all political parties to calm down.
Ani said in a statement to "Khandan", said: "The Presidency continues to issue decrees the death penalty according to the contexts followed did not stop," adding that "what was raised no more than a rumor has been clarified it a formal statement."
Ani confirmed that the "Office of the Presidency of the Republic is committed to the invitation of President Jalal Talabani, the need to embrace all political parties calm and pursue dialogue to end the political crisis and work on the unity of Iraq and not to be drawn behind the sedition and try all the political parties at the dialogue table."
As al-Ani said that "the initiative of Vice President Khodair al convergence also positive feedback from various quarters and will be expanded to hold meetings in the next few days."
